Thankful

 I am thankful for a sweet little boy who grabs his mama's face and gives sweet baby kisses.

 And for a good nurser who snuggles and kneads my chest like a happy kitten while nursing.

 We are also thankful for large windows through which we can watch the world.

 And for cloudy days that burn off with the sun.

 For a good brown dog who lets her baby hold her bone.

And allows him to play with it for a couple of minutes,

 before gently taking it back.

 Dog toys are always more fun to play with.

 We are thankful for yellow trucks which help us to walk,

 for cookie dough taste-testing,

 and for suckers from Grandma on Valentine's Day.

 We love our daddy.

 And are thankful for everything he does to love and take care of our little family.

 Oh, and we discovered that strawberries are pretty tasty too.  Thank you God for delicious red strawberries to brighten dark wintery days!
